The wankworm cyber attack is the worst because it deals with security and also was very costly financially. the one that should not be in the top ten is the political ad one. it probably is similar to what goes around anyway with the campaigning of politicians anyway.

When looking at the top ten most mysterious cyber crimes, I was very surprised at the type of crimes that I found. The one crime in particular that stands out to me as being the clear cut number one crime on this list has to be when the Military Source Code was stolen. The reason why this should be ranked number one is because of the repercussions that could have resulted if this plan had gone through. The hacker was able to get the source code that can control missile-guidance systems in the United States. If this had gone through there could have been some heavy damage as a result and many people could have been lost because of it. The one story that I think really does not deserve to be on the top ten list would be the story about Dennis Kucinich, the politician, on CBSNews.com in October of 2003. This in my opinion really is not that big of a deal because it did not involve any type of money fraud but instead election fraud. Most of the other cries involved some sort of money and the hacker trying to rob people of their money. In my opinion I think that hackers will always find ways to beat the system and there really is no way to stop them completely.
